David Henkin

David Henkin is the Margaret Byrne Professor of History at Berkeley, where he teaches primarily about popular culture and everyday life in the United States during the nineteenth-century. His books include City Reading (1998), The Postal Age (2006), and (with Rebecca McLennan) Becoming America (2014).
David received his PhD at University of California, Berkeley, and his BA at Yale University.
