Scott Lauber graduated with a degree in Journalism from Boston University. He then worked as a sports reporter for a newspapers in Concord, NH, and Binghamton, NY. In Binghamton, he won an Associated Press Sports Editors award for breaking news and another award for a column he wrote.
Scott first covered the Phillies for a newspaper group in Delaware, then moved on to cover the Red Sox from 2010 to 2018. In 2018, he returned to covering the Phillies, this time for the Inquirer. He's written two books about the Phillies: Phillies Confidential, the untold inside story of ther 2008 championship; and the Big 50, the men and moments that made the Philadelphia Phillies
