Isaac Klein is a multimedia storyteller born and raised in East Hampton, New York. He is the creator and host of the podcast VANITY, which is now available on Apple, Spotify, Stitcher, and other platforms, as well as his website. Isaac recently received his MA in Media and Communication from UNC-Chapel Hill, and will soon start work as a digital producer for PBS North Carolina. He is the author of the book The School of Doing: Lessons from theater master Gerald Freedman. Isaac spent 14 years working in professional theater, and his work has been seen all around the country, perhaps most notably as the assistant director of the Broadway revivals of Gypsy (2007) and West Side Story (2009). He has a BFA in Drama from the UNC School of the Arts, where he has often returned as a guest artist and teacher. He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife Laura and their dog, Cricket.
