Recently, we've talked with noted scientists such as Art Caplan and Paul Offit, friends of the podcast who are tops in their field, and they along with many other scientists believe that facts and the scientific method are under attack - and it starts at the top, in Washington DC. That's why a group of scientists and their supporters has banded together to march on the capital and other cities on Friday, March 7th, a march they're calling Stand up for Science! Here's what they say:
We’re a group of scientists and science-interested people, united by our shared passion that science is for everyone and benefits everyone. Stand Up for Science is a grassroots operation led by a core group of 5 early-career scientists, that has grown to a network of over 100 volunteers working toward a shared goal: to protect the American science enterprise.

As they say on their website,
STAND UP FOR SCIENCE
March 7, 2025. Washington DC and nationwide. Because science is for everyone.
